A emailed Sylvania a few days ago asking if they were going to make Silverstar bulbs for our fog lights (894). They just replied saying that they have no intention of doing so.
So my question is what replacement bulbs are available that are bright white with no blue in them. I don't want to get a bulb that is going to mess up my wiring harness either.
Thanks

I personally have Heliolites, but weren't the 880ST's supposed to fit? Might have been the 893's, I couldn't find the thread.

The 880's are straight, not angled right? I haven't taken my assembly apart yet, but how easy is it to make them fit? Thanks.

880's fit fine... but they do have a silver top since their made to go in straight. It doesn't look like that affects the lighting, however.
I have Eurolite 880's in mine too. Not as good as Silverstars, but decent.

The EuroDezigns 894 is a blue bulb with white light (barely blue at all), but I'm sure that there are other colors that you'd like. easy to find on eBay or go to http://www.eurodezigns.com

I just went to autozone a bought some yellowish type of bulbs and they work well in the fogs, but i'm still looking around for something better of course. That's pretty much poop that Sylvania doesn't have them for our fog lights.

actually, there are silverstar 893's which are the same wattage and everything as the 894's just that instead of the bent bulb harness, it's straight. I saw a post somewhere else in the forum that said that those work fine too since there's plenty of room to spare behind the fogs....I was going to go out tomorrow to look for them in stores...probably hard to find tho <_<
here's the link if anyone wants it: http://www.sylvania.com/auto/silverstar.htm

Silverstar 893's are 37.5 Watts, while 880's are 27...our 894's are 27 I believe.

I'm wrong...its the other way around...going to cost me just as much for the Streetglo 894 to have them deliverd...I think I'll just pick up the Silverstars.

What a pain these are to change. Miss Lori Ann convinced me to buy the Street Glow...jk...but I did buy the Street Glow 894's as they are so much cheaper. Got them in the mail yesterday and one broke from the wires just as I put it in...had to take off the fog light mount to get the damn thing out...pain in the arse...so now I'm still without fogs, had to ship them back for a new set.

I just replaced a bulb yesterday and it took less than 20 minutes.
Just wondering what problem you had if any.
