i was just wondering what exactly you had to do to get your tail lights painted...i mean all the details like making a sketch of what you want and everything...also i was wondering what the pricing on that is. thanks!

im not sure exactly but i want something other than stock looking...i dont like all the red so im thinking about just circles or something...i dont know what is legal though and oh yeah by the way my car is black so im doing black paint...anyone have pics for ideas or anything?

no....when he says paint....he means paint....just mask off what you don't want to paint and start paintin'....there's a how to on this....just utilize the search option!!

Painting your tails defeats their purpose. If you want a sweet ass check out Aftermaths shaved rear.

I wonder what would look good on a silver alero. Not sure if black would be a good colour..lol

^yeah....black would look okay if your windows are tinted, and there is enough contrast on your car....just make sure that you tails aren't the only dark part of the car....i say go to a junk yard and see if you can get some tails there and just start experimenting! ya never know, you might do somthing worth keeping!!

i have another question...what paint should i use...krylon fusion but should i use satan or flat or what...im talking about the black paint not the clear coat.

in my pics, the tails are a bit dusty...but all i used for the black was Testor's paint, that comes in a spray can, can be bought at walmart...cost me $6 canadian to do all 4....pretty cheap if you ask me...

and if you go sorta like mine, 1 can of each should be good if you go easy on the coats

it shoudln't matter...as long as you make REALLY light coats so it don't run....it'll be depressing on the first 2 coats or so, cuz you don't really see the difference, but if you take your time, it'll turn out nice
