3 weeks ago my intake manifold gasket finally went on me, burnt through all my coolant and almost all my oil on the 200 mile treck back to school after a weekend at home...I forgot to check under the hood for the green gook of death. Well, went to the GM dealership in town, had 'em replace the gaskets and do all the work, they found my waterpump leaking which I didn't expect cuz I had recently checked over that entire area of my engine and one of my belts had ruptured and they replaced all that under my extended warranty. Well, 3ws later, I have the rattle from under my hood like a loose or ruptured belt...could it be the same belt or what do u guys think.
Sory I haven't been on here in a while...my alero's been 2nd in line for fixin' up recently with my latest project...me 'n my gramps got an '01 Lexus iS300 that we s/c'd...gettin' 490hp at the wheels right now...this summer should get it over 600 with more work. But yea...I've completely given up on gettin' the alero to go quicker...I'll just use it like a daily driver, the aftermarket parts are so much more available for the lexus it's not even funny.
