i was just wondering if there was a certain color that you guys liked better on the alero. i have a 2004 and it is silver right now. i just feel so unoriginal in that color because i pull up to a stop light and there are ten thousand other cars around me with the same color. i had a few colors in mind for a new paint job. tell me what you think would look the best so i can make a more informed decision.
-all black including wheels and the silver trim on the windows
-black with sparkly black racing strips
-deep red with a two tone of a diffrent red (i think it would look nice with the big ass tail lights
-black with yellow pinstriping (maybe a pinstrip design on the hood)
if you don't like any of these just tell me what you would pick if you HAD TO HAVE one and then tell me what you idea would be. i would really appreciate all the comments i could get...i love my alero!

the pic below is an old pic.

Black with yellow sounds nice, as long as the yellow is kept classy, to fit with the rest of the alero's look. yellow is my fave colour =) Silver will fade and be like, grody gray in a few years anyway, so it would still need to be repainted to be kept looking nice. silver ALWAYS fades the worst, and is very common. but jabartram is right, it is an ALERO we are talking about, which is nothing like other cars =)

thats not what i heard Alex, what change of plans.
and if you have plans on doing the kato kit....my car was originally silver, check out my car domain...old pics of it un-lowered, but it was silver with the kato.
and jabartram...i love the car with the cowl and razzi spoiler...kinda made me wanna go back to my original plans of having that spoiler.

old silver paint jobs would fade, the sun would kill the pigment, but any color will fade over time if not taken proper care of, my car is washed and polished bi weekly, the only thing killin me is the dam rock chips.

razzi or the forbidden. the only reason i went with the whole kit was bcuz it was cheaper then getting parts from another one.

Of those choices I like the red color...
But I'm kinda partial of the pace car yellow (even the yellow-white checkered)
