I installed a new head unit in my 2001 alero and i put the old factory one in the trunk and all that good stuff, i ran the power wire over to the fuse box, it all works fine and nifty but when i get in and out of the car i have to turn my radio on and off or else it wont go off, what would i have to do to make it like the factory radio so it cuts off once the driver door opens?

For the factory turn off thing you would have to buy the differant adapter that whould allow you to keep that. Since you already spent money on the other kit change the location of your power wire. Find one that works under accessory. Mine is hooked up in the driver side box. I belive the passenger side is all only Hot. I also whould of posted this under the Audio section.
