How do I take out the back seats to get to the trunk? I dont have a spare key and I've had electrical issues with the ho since I got it. Drivers side mirror, drivers side window, and trunk popper doesn't work. Help me out guys.

And if I can't take the back seats out should I just go to the dealership and get the electrical stuff fixed or should I try to get another key? Which do you think is more expensive? With today being a holiday, I couldn't get anything done.

Jon

Call your dealer in the morning and have them cut a new key, alll they need is your vin number, and proper ID when you pickup the key. Here is the problem with Aleros is you cant get in the trunk without the key or the button on the door, you cant get the back seats down without being about to get in the trunk. So you pretty much need another key to get your keys out of the trunk.

How long do you think it would take?

Thank you very much everybody. Only $20 lighter on the wallet and now I have a nifty new pontiac key to start up my oldsmobile.

And the keys weren't in the trunk.

Hmm...where the hell did I leave them?

I'm just glad that I dont have a computer chip in the key. That would have been a pain in the ass. Im about to go on Ebay and see if I can find a blank with the olds symbol.

No more olds dealers around. They closed them all down mid last year. Had to go to Pontiac/Buick.

A dealer that used to be Olds might have some sitting around though. They aren't just sitting on the ground right under the car? I drop mine rignt next to the trunk when I'm putting stuff in all the time.

Any GM dealer should be able to order you an Olds key. GM will continue to make keys and stuff for them for several years.
