Hey guys
Now Im pretty sure this hasnt been discussed before, but if it has excuse me.
So, i have a coolent leak originating on the accessory belt side of the engine. I have not seen any obvious signs of LIM or UIM leaks, no crud in the oil, coolent level is good, no visual leaks around the gasket.
It appears the coolent is leaking onto the belt at some point and being distributed all over...... This is probably not a great description. I will get pics tonight if I have time.
But any thoughts as to the cause.....pump, hose..
oh and it has been intermittent, meaning it happened one day stopped, was fine the next day and for a week after, yesterday it started again and is still here today. I plan on takig it into the mechanic tomorrow, but i was hoping to get some input from the commnity first.
Thanx guys.

About $20 to do it yourself. It's super simple and you need basic tools. It's gonna cost you at least $100 to take it somewhere.

get 180 thermostat while your at it for about $2.00. Might as well since you have the pump out. save on future mod and helps keep your car running cooler.

Thermostat is on the other side of the engine from the water pump. It's a bitch to change I wouldn't do it unless you need it.
