oh i was getting quotes to get the botom of my hood painted and the top cleared. then one shop recomended a strype on the cowl and run it down the back. now what color?
silver
black
burgendy
i was think of a cool silver that is a little blackish when you look at it different.

^Its Midnight blue I believe.
I would def. go with silver. If your are going to have it shift, make it shift to like a dark grey almost black.

This isn't going to be a vinyl stripe is it?...I do know that they make vinyl that shifts colors...if this is going to be straight up paint...then I'd go with a sliver stripe as well...although I like it when from the front you can see the sliver, and as you slowly drive by it begins to fade into the same color of the car, or even a darker blue than the car.

it is paint i got a good quote for a single stage base clear but i was thinking of a 2 stage with a shimer so it looks a little different on the way you look at it

depends on what u want. Do u want it to be noticeable from a far, then go with the silver. If u dont want it that noticeable, but enough to notice the difference, go with burgandy.

If your car is a dark color, I'd say white would look best

i do hace the cow hood and i was thinking of using the cowl as a guide for my stripe and i want some clear coat in the hood due to the fact that i am getting some sctatching on the hood and with the strype i will get the whole hood cleared.

either silver or white, anything else wouldnt blend together. plus it'll match your rims and overall sceam.

ok then what do you recomen to do i want to protect the hood with clear and paint some of the hood but not all. i would like to keep the cf peaking throghin some places.
all ideas is welcome
forbidden what do you recomend me going with i have a friend who is good at shooting paint . but i want something simple to cut down on time best for both of us

well thats up to you... Its a little hard for me to recomend because I am more into changing the over all look of my car. If it was me i say reapaint all of the car with a custom paint job.
