Hello

New here from Michigan. Just got my new to me 2001 Alero GLS Coupe 2 days ago. It had very low mileage 26,000. I have had these cars turn my head for quite some time, I've looked off and on for a year or so, but this car made me say WOW, That's the one I want!

Cars owned: Chevy Blazers, Probe GT, Escort, Camaros.

Cars driven: Too many to mention, beginning with muscle cars in the late 60's
(YES, I am old enough to be your mother)

Hobbies: None, I am a confessed workaholic! However I am obcessed with Counting Crows... just went to the Atlantic City concert at HOB which was great!

Other: I dunno... What do you want to know????????

ps... Anyone know the best site for parts, such as ashtray to fit into cup holder, is there a temperature gauge/compass available to place where sunroof button is located?

Well welcome to the site. Hey we have the same birthday except I was born in 1984 :P

Your Alero should have had a cup holder ashtray in it already, well atleast mine did, if I still had my Alero still I would have sold it to you since I'm not a smoker .

Thanks for the welcome...
Looks like you all modify and race, I myself will not be doing that.
Nice website, just looking around for a few parts like an ASHTRAY and compass with temp gauge. However i found an ashtray that fits in the cup holder at the dollar store (I am soooo not cool), but it works for me.
Have fun with the vroom vroom guys

Welcome to the forums!

The ash tray and lighter option is still available through dealership. Just go to the Oldsmobile website. Temp and compass wasn't an option. I'd like the digital one with temp that some cars have in their console, or by the map lights.
Those suction cup globes just don't work for me :P
