Hello everyone,
I'm a patriotc person, former active Marine, and purchased an 03 Alero after getting out of the service last year.
I came to these forums after seeing a few custmozied Aleros and reading all of the capabilities and add ons for the Ecotec. I've always wondered why the sport compact should be ruled by foreign ricers, etc.
So I hope to start gathering input from this site and hopefully come out with a decent machine.
Going through the GMPerformance parts book, there's quite a few aftermarket parts. Aside from GMperformance, parts don't seem to be exact fits.
Hope I can learn much from everyone here, and my input can be of help too.
BTW
Car specs, 03 alero gl sedan, options aside from rear discs ( not too happy about that)
Soon to have some ns racing eclipse rims 17" with touyo proxes.
I'll let you now how the fit is, I have to test a few tire sizes out to see how wide I'll go (i work at a tire store)

I noticed most people have a name that has something to do with their car.
GRE is my intials and 0481 was my military operational specialty (JOB in short) Not sure what I should name my car. I could take pics now but she needs a wash. and I have a crack in my front and a crack in my rear bumper, so I might wait till I repaint em.

Well, I'm probably easier to spot then. Bright red coupe, tinted, silver 17's, MTU and Aleromod.com stickers. Although I'm not out and about much since I don't have a job.
You'll still stick out if you aren't older than 40 though. That seems to be the typical Alero driver around here, especially in a sedan.

Yeah, actually I was driving an escort when I got out of the service, mocha frost, (a tannish beige color)
The four door came in because my dad is one of those gm schmucks who buy the pep cars, put miles on em, then give em back. I had a blowout, wrecked the car, needed a replacement, and took over paintments. I would have went with a silver 03 black 04 coupe with a 2.0 ecotech stick :P I'll do what i can though :P

Your dad is a Pep driver? Like 8th level GM exec? I need a job...

Yeah, sometimes; They dont do it as often as before. you were right on the level btw. Hopefully I can clean this thing up a bit and find an 04.
Too sad Oldsmobile changed it's image, just a bit too late to make a vast sales improvement.

I think he was saying that he has all the options except for rear discs. Cause rear disks are sweet.
And GRE - seriously, can your dad get me a job?
