Dash Kit on ebay

i was wondering if anyone has seen or purchased one of these. says its available in a variety of colors. might be an alternative to everyone painting thier own original ones and having to buy GM replacements if they ever wanted to sell thier car. not a bad price really if the quality is reasonable.

***EDIT*** after reading into it a little further, i am assuming these are a sticker covering that, by the sound of it, is very hard to get off later down the road.

A couple people have done them... there are some size issues with some of the larger pieces from what I hear.

Heres an image

I'll see if I can get any better ones.

that does look really good. any issues with peeling on the edges at all? or discoloration?
it looks like at the top left corner of your radio it was cut wrong or peeling up. if they hold up like they say and look that good i might just go that route as opposed to painting.

i bought mine from a link on this site, same stuff tho. I got the brushed aluminum shizzle. Went on pretty easy, fit nice and hasn't come off at all. here's a pic. Mine came with 14 pieces, i like the way it looks around the stock radio.

When this stuff first became readily available to those of us in Lethbridge (the old stompin grounds) my buddy had a 99 Civic SIR *we all make mistakes* and he got it done for his... the company name, I really can't find, however, the process is much the same. The dash kit - using the same process as what the pictures in this thread show - was done summer of 2001. All I can say is that to date, it's lasted without any aging. It hasn't faded, stripped, or peeled anywhere. If only he could claim the same for his bright lime green paint job .

It looks like a really good deal to be honest...

Ej.
