alright, I know they are needed for the flasher to work correctly, but say I was going to use 4 led's in the front turn's 2x3157's 2x194's so would I need to wire a resistor at each bulb or just for each side in front?

I went LED front turn and rear turn signals which required (1) 3 ohm resistor on each side of the car. This would be your best bet because one on each side of the car takes care of everything. 194 bulbs dont require any load resistors so no need to worry about that. I got them and my bulbs from here CLICKY
If you havent already bought the bulbs, get the ones with some side firing LEDS so you can make use of the reflectors in the housings

If you're talking about the bulbs then yeah, they are cheaper there. I have every exterior bulb in LED now, so I've ordered from both sites, just got mixed up on which bulbs I've ordered from where.
