someone help me please! I am taking the dash out and i need to remove the steering wheel and so i bought a steering wheel puller and it was a piece of junk. I couldn't get the jaws to stay on and then when i did, all the puller did was grind into the middle and it didn't budge. Anyone? Please help me? is there a different special puller i need? the book just says to use a 2 jaw one and it will come off. Well......not in this case. BTW, I have an '02 Alero.

Awesome! Thank you. As you can tell I am new at this. I read the forums for a long time before I even created an account. And this morning I decided what the heck, I am at my last straw with this car so I thought I would try you guys. Anyhow, my name is Angel and I am re-creating my interior on my 2002 Alero. I have the doors finished and I am currently working on the dash, console, ect. I will eventually figure all this out and get some pics and such on here, but i thought i would wait until at least the interior was finished. Um....well im not sure what else to tell ya all.
