Good friend of mine works for his dad, who owns a shop that cuts/polishes parts out of aluminum. Standard setup of putting in a 3D design onto a computer program, and the machines do the rest...

well i was working on trying to get the 442 hood done.......but it will have to wait.....My car was jammed today and will lay down final paint on Saturday. It will be completely done sometime this week. (fingers crossed on everything lining up in good time to finish it)
I will continue to work on getting a 442 style hood done although i've changed from metal and will go all composite (carbon fiber/fiberglass combo)
I had extra paint mixed up so once it is done blending won't be any problem at all....

i was interested in getting something made for my car but have no idea who i'd even talk to about it. I was hoping to get a custom bug deflector made out of stainless steel, or polished aluminum, or something i can get chromedipped so it will be nice and shiney. Which route do you think i should go, and what type of a shop would i have to go to to get one made. Also i'd like it to wrap around the front of the hood like a typical bug deflector, but instead of ending flat on the hood i'd like it to end in a flame pattern. Any ideas where i'd go, and what type of loot i'd be looking at?
