sooo, you just bought it?? i say you go back to the place you got it from and ask that something be done about it. sure its your fault for not checking it out before you bought it, but its a flaw that they failed to mention..

I dunno, thats why you get someone reputable to fully look over a used car before you buy it. A bargain could have been made pending the found flaws.

^ exactly what I was thinking....take it back to them and say: " Here, I didn't do this, so you can either (a) fix it free of charge, or (b) take this car and shove it, and return ALL of my money. Failure to do one of these two things will result in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau for failure to do business by law as per the current "Lemon Laws"

There's suppose to be to tabs on each side of the bar(right and left side) that suspend the bar in mid air when the roof is open. They conect to the bar and the frame of the sunroof. These tabs keep the bar from flapping up and down when driving. My tabs broke a bit ago so i took a drill bit and drilled a whole in the middle of the bar, then took a drill bit that is wider than the head of the screw i used and drilled a whole through the first top layer of the bar. I then screwed the bar down. The srew goes below the top layer of the bar so you can't see it and holds the bar down. My roof opens and closes no problem and it doesn't leak. Otherwise it looks like the whole bar will need to be replaced because there attached to the bar and pop into the frame.
