So im buying a dual exhaust and i need to cut a slit in the back bumper, and i have no idea how to do it...What do i need?How do i do it?Should i wait until the exhaust is mounted on and just cutaround where it needs to be, or should i cut it first and then put the exhaust on...THANKS...
also if u say a tool i need could u gimme a link to a pic of it...im not a big handy man...thanks....sorrry if this was the wrong place to post this...

if you're having someone else install the exhaust, they will cut it for you.

i made a template of the factory one with a sheet of paper, and masking tape, then measured the right side so i was sure to be in the same place reversed the template, taped it to the bumper marked the bumper with a marker, and cut it with tin-snips. came out great.

tin snips can be found at your local hardware store for $8 to $20.......

tins snips?? my guy just took an air grinder to do it without a template and it turned out almost identical

pretty much any cutting tool will work with a steady hand. even a dremel. (but using a high-speed tool like a dremel, you'd melt the plastic and it would be smelly.)

I did the same thing, but didnt cut with tin snips. Dont have them do it unless you want to pay more.
