My rust has nothing to do with not washing or waxing. The rear quarter is an obvious imperfection in the sheet metal (looks like a thumbprint). And the hood is a bad weld. Scot (Oldsman) has seen it. I'd fix it if I didn't have other things to spend money on, like rent.

well i didnt mean aleros on this board... i just meant michigan cars in general seem to be plagued with rust more so than anywhere else, that i've ever heard of

Yeah its because we are the only fools that still use salt on the roads, not sand. I've been lucky. No rusties on my 01. Lots of rock chips on the hood though which sucks.

hey maybe my other two cars are all rusty but my alero only a spot on the bottom inside of the driver door and a few spots along the inside lip of the hood is rusty and along with alero440 lots of F**kin rock chips on hood... but yeah easy fixes if you know what to do
