Hello again!
I joined up with Aleromod.com when I got my first Alero, basically as a lurker. I didn't have it for very long when this happened:
more (depressing) images here...
Long story short, we were sitting at a red light, my wife, daughter, and I, and a 95ish Chevy Astrovan rammed us from behind; eyewitnesses say he didn't even hit his brakes, so he must have been going at least 30-35 mph.
At any rate, when the insurance company totalled it, we purchased a Pontiac Grand Prix, hoping to fill the void.
Boy, was that a mistake. Sure, it handled well, and sipped away gasoline, but it just wasn't DOING IT for us. Suffice it to say, we traded that beast in and bought another Alero!

Now...time to drop that baby and clear those corners...or whatever the cool thing to do is now!

They totalled an Alero after a light hit like that??? Same thing happened to my parents actually. Sitting at a red light at 4 in the morning in their 88 GMC Safari (Loved that van). Late model pick up hit them at 60 km/h without braking. Cracked bumper is all we had (Steel). Mind you the spare wheel underneath saved most of the damage. The truck had no damage at all other than a bent plate.
But yeah welcome back and enjoy the modding. I'll be starting my modding fairly soon too, hopefully.
