I am thinking about buying a strobe kit on ebay, one of the whelen hideaway kits. Why? I am unsure as of now, but think it will look pretty cool. I am wondering what people think about this. Anyone have these? Get them or say screw it, and dont.
If anyone has them, was the install hard? get them professionally installed? I just want some feedback since I know all of you have some. Thanks a bunch!

if you do it, here's one piece of advice: try to hide the wiring, or have the wiring go underneath the headlights. if the hood is open and you see all those loose wires...you get less points or something.
And try to only use them when parked or at shows. Cops will be all over you if you use them on the street.

I know I can't use em on the streets, that hardcore problems, and in no means is my car a show car, its just something I want, like people getting neons and all that. I'm just wonding if its a good idea! Silentalero, did you install them yourself, or had them professionally done? Who would do them professionally?

Get them. I have some in my headlights and in the fog lights and they look cool. i installed them myself but if you are not sure about drilling into your lights and wiring then don't do it yourself.

I have strobes in my headlights (the cheap kind from Autozone) I had my cousin install them for $10, and I love them. I bought some for my tail lighs (I'm going to have them put where the reverse lights are, and I hope that won't look gay). I've passed cops with the strobes on a few times, and they didn't stop me.

strobes are what the police have in their headlights when they pull you over the bright flashing lights.
But heres the catch, police strobes are 60w, mine are 90w

Throw it on putfile.com or something, I'd like to see as well.
Not that I want strobes myself , but I'd be interested to see
how it looks.
