Also what engine do you have cause my 3400 did this and it turned out to be the EGR valve.

Modded Exhaust? If so O2 sensor by the cat

did you have the light turned off and then it came back on or it just didn't turn off? If its the first then have the boob @ autozone remove the code, it will linger until removed, then you should be straight. Otherwise it COULD be your fuel system, but more likely it is somewhere in the ignition system. It is NOT the exhaust sensor, that is a different code, usually slow response or bad O2 sensor, forget teh actuall code but not a misfire.

Check the Coils for any corrosion or tracking.

Yeah this just happened and it turned out to be the coil pack for number four cylinder and msd coil packs from summit are 39 a piece so you might want to try one or just get a stock replacement at autozone.

it lags just alittle but u said it might be a coil so I can buy from autozone and replace it myself right

Yes...You can buy a Coil from Autozone. When You check each Coil, look for carbon tracking,burning,corrosion...etc. as this can cause a misfire. also check the plug to the Ignition Module for any corrosion.

did they reset the code once you replaced stuff or not? If they didn't it is just a latent code that is not valid, have it reset and see if it comes back on.
