So i decide that this summer i am going to do one thing or the other and don't know which one to spend the money on. A) i can get my bumper and exhaust looking right or B) get a remote start system. Which one do you think i should do?

Since you said summer you wont have to worry about comming out to the cold so, do the exaust. Then by the time winter comes around you might be able to do the remote start. :thumb:

i'm not worried about that. i have enough money saved that something like that won't be a problem.

it hard to tell in the picture but the tips don't stick out that much. it is just hung so low it looks like that. if i do the exhaust i will need to cut the bumper and bring up the exhaust about 1"-1 1/2". yeah it that low. :Noooo:

Easy DIY job.
I do not recomend cutting painted body parts but since this is so low no one will ever see if you make a mistake.
Just cut out a spot with a dremel, easy to do, not much to explain.
The exhuast, just use zip ties on the hangers to pull it up higher, thats what i used to get my tips up higher, no one will EVER see the zip ties.
Done, price? $1.00....for the zip ties.

wow you are not serious are you?

uh...ok. That's one way, then there's also the RIGHT way.

and my opinion is get the exhaust fixed, the angle the pic is from is a prominent angle that most people WILL see the car from and it will look like they hang that low or stick out that far. Were you standing in an upright position when you took the picture?

Why would i not be serious?
Look at my exhuast tips, can see the zip ties? All you do is zip tie the hangers, works the same as buying new rubber hangers.

Also alot of grandam owners cut out the rear diffuser with dremels and they come out really good, it would work the same way for cuting out a notch for your exhuast.

I've had my mounts ziptied for 2 years now. No different than buying new mounts and it doesn't cost anything. If anything else it will be a temporary fix and make your car look better.

And as for the cutout, I used a dremel to do mine as well. I took a piece of cardboard and traced a pattern from the left side and transferred it to the right side. Even when you stand right behind the car it looks identical on both sides.
