Help Please!!

ok so my little black button on the shifter has just fallen off.. what i need to know is how to dissassemble the the shifter so i can get a better look at it

would be better off getting a replacement shifter...

ebay had our shifters for cheap at one point

i think super glue can fix this problem and i wanna fix it before my dad sees it :lol:

pull the pin out, its on the shifter.... get a pair of pliers and pull the pin out, after its out, it will slide off.

i dont know the button just popped off i can still shift it but its kinda tricky....i found a thing on the front it doesnt look like a pin and its definately not coming out maybe mine is different??

If it is the automatic then there is a C clip that you have to pry out with a small screw driver or something like it. There is no pin in the Automatic Shifter.

i tried to get that lil curvy pin ..thing but its on there too good ....but upon further investigation i figured out that on the button the part that broke off was a kinda pointing out thing because inside the shifter there is a hole and because when you push the button in it goes off crooked so there is a hole in the button and inside the shifter thats where a kinda rail thing used to go ...i looked for it under my seats and everything but i cant find it so im gonna make a makeshift one till i find out where i can get a short shifter

hmm you should just beable to pry it out. I did it many times on mine with just a small flat screw driver.
