I guess this is appearance related...
Just got a polished stainless steel gauge bezel in. I'm waiting on the white gauge face covers (pics whenever I get em and they're installed). All I really need to know, is how to separate the clear plastic cover from the black plastic housing, which are, in effect glued together by Satan himself.
In the how to section, I found something that suggested using a (dremel?), but seeing as how i don't have one now, i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion or had tried to do this before. Thanks.

when you take the gauges out it has snaps all around it. Thats pretty much all you need to undo to get to the clear part off. there might be one more thing to do (i havent taken my gauges apart for awhile) but its pretty simple once you get it out. and dont worry about losing a screw or two i only have two screws holding the gauges in now.

Oh I have the entire gauge cluster out, and unsnapped everything so I can put the gauge faces on. Its the clear plastic piece (the one that prevents someone from say... poking their gauge needles while in place lol) I need to remove thats like glued to the black stock bezel...

Cool if you figure it out let me know. I'm more looking for what type of cutting tool of doom that I should employ..
