View Full Version : Wheel...wheel well.
So my punk ass wheels started rubbing against my front wheel wells... Fuck do I do? Springs are dead? Struts are dead? Am I fucked? This just started like a week or so ago.

First, let go some steam.
Second, I'd start by checking by yourself where they are possibly rubbing. (maybe its just a piece of the well that was disconnected from the fender or something like this that is rubbing)
Third, depending on what you saw at second, I'd buy the required stuff needed to repair if you know what is wrong or like Tricky said, take it to a professional.
I dont think its a question where we can point out a precise problem. If it started to rubb suddenly, something has to be wrong tough.
im guessing that the tire is rubbing where the gap inbetween your wheel and fender would be right? if thats the case yours springs are shot and your probably going to have to replace yours struts aswell.
I don't know if it's rubbing against the well, I just assume it is. Because I had new rotors and pads put in after the noise happened because I already had them laying around...but the noise didn't go away.
But what is weird is that I would assume that if it was rubbing against the well it would be making the noise non-stop. Which it isn't. The noise only happens when I'm 10+mph. I know that's not really fast, but when I'm going 5mph there is no noise whatsoever.
The noise sounds like...uh...you know when you were an asshole kid, and you taped a playing card on the frame and put it through the spokes. It sounds like that... I don't know how else to explain it.

Hubs?
Remove the wheel and look around the wheel and inside the well. If it's as bad as you say, you should see marks. But I'm voting for the hubs.
Yes Jackel's comment was funny
