just cut the roof of an oldsmobile with a sunroof and weld it on ur car.. i've always wanted to see someone do it, technically it is possible, my 3.4 is all wired for a sunroof, just a lil bit of work and painting.. have a stock one (less chance of leaking)

or u could just get one of those stick on sunroofs

(off topic) anyone with a sunroof.. u ever have leak problems

Ziebart in Jamestown will do them. I got a friend who works there and he said depending on style they would probably be like $400 installed starting out (more than likely not electric). Go down there and check it out.

If you want an Alero with a sunroof, sell what you've got and go buy an alero with a sunroof. Nearly ever aftermarket sunroof ever installed has had leak problems it seems like. Horror stories abound when you look into it. As for my factory sunroof, I did have problems with the A-pillar drain not being installed properly, or something to that effect. I had major leak problems just after I bought the car. Water would leak into the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash causing shorts and blown fuses. Many trips to the dealer and they finally fixed it. I think there may have been a TSB somewhere along the line for it.

Sure the 3.4 had a sunroof option.. I have a GLS (which comes with a sunroof) which has the 3.4.. never really had any problems with my sunroof and im using it almost everytime i get into the car.

Best option is like what someone said here: You would need to chop the top of an Alero with an electric sunroof and weld it to your car. Its very pricey though.

I was talking with bizarre about that and I think it would be sweet. If anyone can find a pic or photo shop one that would be sweet!

As funny as the sticker is, the questions from potential buyers are hilarious:

"So what type of motor does it take and how do i go by wiring it all up and locating the switch??"

"Will I have to declare the addition of this modification to my insurance company and will it compromise the structural integrity of my car?"

"Will this work with my convertible?"

"How much horsepower does this add?"

Find a classic soft trim in your area...i've seen them put in hundreds of sunroofs with not many problems. They garuntee them for life and they are a very reputable company. I think through them you're looking at around $900
