my neighbor had a flush done and they didnt fully top it off for her and her low coolant light came on i checked res it was dry so i toped it off. now first off it says dexcool right on res second i knew cuz my car it takes dex. so we looked at her reciept they put g-5 in her damn car for sure. now im wondering am i going to ruin her car. it had to be atleat half a liter i toped with 50/50 dexcool. what the hell how could they do that. what should i do?

You could put regular green stuff in your car if you did a rad flush. You just cant mix both.

what should i do?
you get that fluid out of the radiator ASAP and make sure to rinse it all out.. then fill it full of ONE BRAND of coolant.

if the fluid is low and you need to "top it off" you do so with WATERRRRRRRRRRRR not another brand of coolant!

Try having a place flush it otherwise if that fails its tear down the engine and clean and put back together time.
Also, I have never heard of G5 coolant. Ever. A Google search indicated that the Apple G5 computer has coolant in it, but no such thing as a type of vehicle coolant named as such.

Oh, that's because it's called "G-05" not G-5 or G5.
Don't worry if they don't get all the Dex-cool out, because Zerex G-05 is compatible to be mixed with any coolant.
(Not that you want to intentionally mix different types of coolant though.)
