first of all, disconnect negative terminal from battery(u will be working with the airbags)

then, start by the trims around the shifter and radio, remove radio, remove steering wheel(pic below)to do this, remove the 2 torx screws holding the airbag in place and pull off slowly, there are 3 wires there, a red, a black and a yellow...disconnect all of 'em.

then, loosen the fat nut in the middle of the steering wheel, and use the puller to take steering wheel off.NOTE: there is alot of pulling required to get it off, don't be scared to pull

then, remove gauges, disconnect ignition and 4way flashers and dimmer switches.

remove the piller arms(ones that run along windshield)

remove vent(windshield defroster)

remove center console if u haven't done this yet(arm rest one)

remove screws holding in the dash and remove

it'd be a good idea to have another set of hands handy when u remove the dash, even more important when u put it back in, don't want to scratch the new paint

hope these instructions help

Just starting to get the parts off. Is the area asround the glove box seperate or does it just look that way?

^ The glove box itself can be removed from the dash, so it is separate

How in the world does one take the rubber cover off the center of the wheel? I've taken off the two screws on both sides, and yet... nothing... any help appreciated

it's taken care of... there was "gunk" holding the a.b. assembly to the wheel... nothing a little WD-40 couldn't fix...
