I have a 99 alero and I have to replace the drivers side foglight every month or so due to the fact that the area that houses the bulb fills with water when it rains and blows the light out, has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

wait do you replace the bulb, or do you replace the whole thing in general. I am pretty sure those things are suppose 2 b air tight. If you keep replacing the bulb then i would say u have a leak somewhere on the fog light and you might be able to maybe use some silicone to seal it up(making sure you get out any condensation/water first).......other wise you are just going to have to buy a new housing........

i replaced mine once, also noticed that it was building up condensation, when I redid it haven't had it burn out since

that was one of the first things to go probably summer last year

i'd say use clear silicone on it just in case, you can always peel it off if the bulb goes again

how much is it to buy the whole housing? And how do you remove the old housing?

haha i tore apart at my car working on it, was one of the first few things I've ever had to dig into the car to get to

you can get in through under the car, just look for where pieces pop out and you can reach in and get to em

I believe you can just pull the headlight to get to where the foglight bracket attaches to the car. Easy,
