removing the oil pressure sender on a 3.4L and putting a pressure sender for a oil press gauge.. will this make the service light or any other light come on once removed?

You'll have to "T" it to make everything work.
Don't know the size of the thread offhand, but a brass plumbing tee from Home depot will work. Don't spend a shitload of money on the "automotive" ones. It's the same thing you get at the hardware store.
BTW I did get your FB email. I've just been busy. It's not a quick response ;)
i just disconnected the stock one and put the new one in with a brass fitting and left the stock plug just hanging there infront of the engine, and i dont throw lights
edit: i have an '01 not sure if it matters.

If you unplug the stock one nothing will light up on the dash out of the ordinary.
Who needs the factory notification that there's < 5 psi of oil pressure? By then the car's toast, and the reason you're removing that oil light sensor is that you're installing an actual gauge to monitor. Makes no sense to go through the effort to retain the stock sender.
