I was under there, couldn't find the drain for the radiator. Could someone tell me exactly where it is? The car is a 2001.

facing the car, lower righthand corner, little white piece, use a 1/4 extension to turn it, its not completely screwed in, so you just need to twist it a little then use some kind of pick tool to pull it out, make sure the cap for the reservoir is off! hope that helps.

most people would agree with me when i say i dont recommend taking it off because there is a good chance it can break and you will hafta get a new one, if what you want to do is drain the coolant, most people just disconnect hoses.......

but what he saids right, thats where it is.....

it won't break... just be a man about it, and don't kitty around with it... get a good grip, twist like supposed to... and out it all goes..

Alright I know this thread is really old, but I was draining my coolant from the radiator today... I sorta effed it up so to say.. I used the 1/4 extension like the haynes manual says to and loosened, but it was only dripping a little. Then I used pliers like it said and I had some issues and ended up tearing pieces of the plastic off so now I can't tighten or loosen it anymore. Are there any radiator drain valve replacements ?? I wasn't trying to take it off just loosen it like it said, but the plastic was just ripping off.. does anyone know where I can get a replacement or do I need to get a whole new radiator? thanks..

edit: alright i found the plug at autozone, but anyone know how to get a really ripped up/threaded radiator plug out??
