Any other ideas of where it would fit? a tape measure will only give me an IDEA of where to put it, since the top opens and everything.......

Mount it in your trunk and run controller extensions up to the front and mold them into the dash along with a reset and ON/OFF switch.

what if u could mount it in the center console just underneath the stereo by the shifter. then that would mean u would have to make a new center console... is that a cool idea?

why don't you just gut the glove compartment and put it in there...build a housing so you can still let air get behind it and make it so you can still open and close the door?

silent, you need the cordless controllers, it would get rid of those tacky wires

You can mount a mini under the dash like that becuase the top open like the old PSX/PSone. I guess he could stand it up and from what I ahve heard they do play standing up.

I like this idea i might try it when i get the new ps2 (getting it for my bday feb 19th). thanks for the help and if you have more ideas lemme know. Also i have the wireless, so it doesn't have to be too close.

its a good place for it if you don't use your glove compartment, just make sure it looks nice. This way nobody will ever know its in there if you can still close it.

I wonder if it can play upside down? you could mold it into the headliner.

does the disc rest in there, or does it clip in like a walkman?

Vtolds

I just flipped mine over and tried it, and guess what it just killed the disk I used. :wah:

J/k it plays fine

hmmmmmm, but even if it is upside down i dunno where it could be placed to look good. Once i get it i will try a few different spots out, take some pics and see what you guys think. Thanks for all the help guys,

i have an idea to add if u could play it upside down and nothing goes wrong what about placing it in between the sun visors B)

You could redo your headliner and also cover the ps2 mold it right into the headlinner just leave the top exposed enough that you cant hit the open and power button amd you could use some nice wireless controllers.

mike2002

it should be in the manual, if it plays upside down without any future problems....you could contact sony just to see if there's any reason it couldn't be mounted upside down

Does the network thing detach? never seen one in person

whatabout in the armrest console...might fit in there, flush with the top, but there'd be alot of wasted space below it (or room for your power converter/any other extra wiring..... brain box for your tv deck (if thats what your using)
