Ok the driver's side window was working fine on Saturday before I left to go to my g/f's house.
45 minutes later, I pull up and roll down the window and the window will not go down. I heard nothing, not even the click of the switch.
This morning and all day today, it worked fine
Sounds like a switch to me. Am I right?

might have a bad spot on the motor, smack dat bia once or thrice and it should work. its happened to me twice so far.

wait until it happens again and when it does, take a shot at the motor, if it works, then its the motor, otherwise the switch is the cheapest alternative.

if you are sitting in the driver's seat, the motor is towards the lower right corner

believe it or not it could be the cheap little plastic piece that holds the window. thats how my passenger side worked for a while until it broke completely.

I have the same problem. Its not the switch. The first thing I did was buy a new switch, and it didn't do anything for it. All I do is just take the door trim off and bang on the motor.
