Pedal Play

i know its perfectly normal for tyhe gas pedal to have a little bit of play in it, but i think mine has a little more play than usual, ever since i took apart the TB linkage. like now, i can floor it and the car will shift at 5,250 RPM's instead of the usual 5,800 or 5,600 (1st gear). what i wanna know is if there is any way to maybe tighten the TB linkage line, or something. :wacko: please help

Check the throttle cable it might of come out of position when removing the TB. My cruise control cable did that

well i mean they are both in, just loosely, like more than normal loose.

They shoud have a set postiion unless changed.

They should have no play

mine has like 1.5 inches of play, maybe 2!
