I have my setup ready to go, but with some of the other things i am adding into the trunk, i would like to secure the sub box so it dont move around in my trunk, as i will also be placing the motherboard and all the hardware for my carputer in the trunk, so anyone have any ideas for how i could mount the subbox down in my trunk? thanks for the help

L-brackets or some industrial grade velcro.

do what i did...screw bolts down through the bottom...making sure u wont hit anything...and use some sort of sealant on the bottom for water...just for extra water protection...works for me and they DO NOT move lol

thats why i was iffy to screw bolts down through the trunk, cause i dont have access to really get under there to see where the gas tank is and all

I'd use several L-brackets.

Mine weights about 120lbs and would normally slide a bit. so i used some L brackets. Everyone says "watch out for the gas tank!" but w/ it all the way up in the trunk, its still about a foot from the tank.

Hope these help.

The braces hold it good and tight.

Yeah the gas tank is actually under the back seat.

i used velcro like a long strip on either side and it works beautifully

I bolted mine in from the seat side with a shed door latch, so one piece is on the frame and one on the box, and I used quick disconnect connectors on the wires.

Nothing worse then having a flat in the middle of nowhere and not having a screwdriver to remove the box with! Plus, if you drag race, makes removing it a snap.

just put a couple 10 inch strips of velco on the bottom of the box, and use a staple gun to staple it into the box, works like a dream
