if you're having someone else install the exhaust, they will cut it for you.

i made a template of the factory one with a sheet of paper, and masking tape, then measured the right side so i was sure to be in the same place reversed the template, taped it to the bumper marked the bumper with a marker, and cut it with tin-snips. came out great.

pretty much any cutting tool will work with a steady hand. even a dremel. (but using a high-speed tool like a dremel, you'd melt the plastic and it would be smelly.)

what kind of exhaust did you get and how much and how much are they charging you for the install?

I did the same thing, but didnt cut with tin snips. Dont have them do it unless you want to pay more.
