nicee, those suckers are actually pretty bright

Yeah, I personally like that look myself. Now I just wish I could afford some HID's to go along with the strips. Lol. Oh well, I can probably get some Silverstar headlights pretty cheap to match. Lol Thanks bmxer! This really helped!

Don't get silverstars, they suck.

cavaliers60 10-23-2010 10:34 PM

I have silverstar Ultras in my car and I never had an issue with them.... Don't know why you all don't like them.

You could look into something like this...

same here, i got silverstars in mine. there good in my opinion. think there like 9005 or 9004? either way they're better than what came with my car originally

Tuse31 10-24-2010 12:55 AM

Where can I find an HID kit that cheap? eBay? I would prefer to buy local from an auto parts store where I can discounted prices. What about cool blues? Or are those even worse than silverstars?

Silverstars have a really short life span, it even says so on the box they come in. Plus I've heard lots of stories about them overheating and either breaking or damage the lens of the headlight.

we run silverstars in my other halfs Escape and we've never had a problem with them the shortest they've lasted was about a year and a half.. she likes them and i told her i wanted to HID her Escape but she doesn't want them so i guess we're sticking to silverstars

I run Wagner true views and the ones in my truck are about 3 years old now.

I already told you on the first thread you said this on that you had found it...that is what it was for

CrazzyCavanaugh 01-24-2013 09:43 AM

i seen them but i dont understand how?
like i need how to instructions do do the mod, need help, kinda a noob when it comes to aleros

03glgold 01-24-2013 10:24 AM

did you read the first page, it was a step by step how-to...If you don't understand it, I would suggest starting on other simpler stuff and working your way up until you understand what it is saying...I would even say look at a relay to see how the pins are set-up, look at how the harnesses are that go into the headlights etc... everybody starts somewhere, most of us weren't born knowing what we were doing with this stuff, it all had to be learned
