Wheel hub assembly

how hard is that to do and is it alot of money?? and how important is it? like is it bad to just keep driving it the way it it? |
It's the sensor for the abs, but the hub is a sealed unit. You have to replace the whole assembly. You can drive it but you have no abs. Pretty sure there is a how-to on replacing it. Not that hard. You might want to go over the electrical connections. You said it was the first snow. Maybe the connection got messed up.

Not that hard to swap, you should be able to run on it for a while, but not forever. If its only the sensor, well you are ok, but generally the hubs goes as well.

is there any way to tell which one is the bad one?
|
if you drive on it for too long and the bearing ceases up you could crash your car.

mine did the same thing when i locked up my e brake and started burning my tires but they went off after i shut the car off and turned it back on
