AGX Struts, What springs?
I did some looking, and I didn’t see anything related to this, what springs would work best with the KYB adjustable struts, for a daily driver, something moderately stiff, comfort is not much of an issue. Any help will be golden, thanks!!!

I gotta say, the eibach pro-kit is the damn best kit Ive seen so far, even with my 19s and the kyb gr2 the ride is even smoother yet tighter than the original

Any one know anything about sprint springs? Just wondering. Thanks BTW.

I would say Sprint springs are the way to go, but that's because I have them :p Seriously though, they drop almost 2 inches and are a good bit stiffer than stock. Even on my stock struts they help the car handle pretty well. I'd buy them again.

kinda a dumb question... but...
i have 15" stock rims right now. If i got sprint springs (for example) and 18" rims... the body of the car will drop 2" but the rims will raise it another 3? Obviously this closes the wheel gap, but i'm just wondering how much lower the actual bottom of the car is, as compared to stock. It seems (from my logic) that the actual body of the car, will be 1" higher with that kinda setup... (my logic behind NOT getting springs has always been, that i currently have "bottoming out" issues in many parts of the local area, so lowering would only make things worse) or am i completely dellusional like usual. :lol: |

When you go to a larger wheel size, your overall outer diameter of the tire will roughly stay the same, so your ride height doesn't change all that much. Bigger wheel = less sidewall. |
aahhh... thats the part i was missing. :lol: (i was assuming same side wall size... which, duh, doesn't happen) even i was looking out the window at my car, and looking at ion's on the main page and scratching my head, at how stupid of a question that was.
hey! medical diagnosis is easy.. automotive anything is tricky. there is no rhyme or reason, engineers just do, and let people figure it out later. |
^ Plus your axle is in the same location so the radius is the only variable that may change. 3 inch bigger wheel is equal to 1.5 inches of lift. From 16 to 18 inch wheels didn't change speedometer cause circumference is relatively the same by going down in tire height.

its also called priorities. my car doesn't need $500 struts... however, i do need to eat, and fill my gas tank so i can get back to school.
