Need Help Now! thread. IRONDOG442 stated that you need the ground strap under the IDI cover for the ICM and related ignition components to function properly. I am unable to reply and mention that it is unnecessary. The ICM has a ground wire, the strap is not required. I haven't used mine for a little over a year now I think.
