you're trying to get the trim off? ... it should just pop right out- its held in place by clips.. take a flathead screwdriver and GENTLY but firmly pry it away from the dash and it should pop out-
(im not responsible for any trim broken or damaged during this process) lol

LOL.. either i'm completely retarded or your posts aren't making any sense to me.. or a little of both?
are you trying to put the trim back on.. or take the trim off to remove the stereo or head unit?
or better yet.. post a picture of what you're trying to do

ok i figured it out how to get the trim off,,,,
ok i got an after market sterio installed and when the trim locks in place i can get the side clips to locked in all the way but the top 2 clips will not lock in place all the way to where there is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap.
they had to install the after market sterio installation kit so either the trip is hitting on the plastic installation kit or the installation kit is to tall for the factory trip

i had to flie a bit of room around my aftermarket stereo trim so the dash trim would fit tight.

holy crap- it sticks out that far?
it looks to me like it would be able to fit around the head unit- it fit around mine without any problems- did you get the right head unit installation kit?
what you -might- have to do.. is take the head unit's trim off.. to get the console trim to fit around it.. try that and take pics-
im gonna be gone for the next half hour or so.. gotta finish up around here at work and head to the house.. so BBL!

looks like it will fit, mine was tight to begin with too. just put the clips in and hit it with your fist to lock them in (i am not responsible for damages, i've tore so many trim pieces off i'm used to hitting them back on)

That's exactly what I do. The ones on the floor by the doors are terrible. One of mine had a rusted clip that fell off. JUst hit the thing make sure there isnt too much around the bottom so it doesn't bend or crack.
