I just got done replacing my reciever and now i want to replace that little light in that cavity below the radio. anyone know what size or type that lamp is?
and has anyone used oznium cathodes for some feet light? just how bright are we talking with those things?

not sure, it's really small, take off the shifter (there is a pin on the side closest the stereo) and pull up on the front cup holder, that whole assy. will pull out, you can look at the bulb, and also change the 194 bulb under the P, R, N, D, etc with a blue led one.

My friend has ozium cathodes in his accord, its pretty bright, but it looks nice.

if u want good lighting, go with cold cathodes....very bright, and dirt cheap compared to regular neons...

that velcro doesn't hold up very well your better off with double faced tape

pfft, na i secure my stuff good, just poke 4 holes around the squared ends and tie wrap em in there.

funny thing is i just order some led's and cathodes and was gonna post a question as to favorite (sturdy) mounting methods.... now i know. man i love this site...

Question about the cold cathodes, I read where some of the colors are a little of, like red is more of a pink. Was wondering how true this is.

well i dunno about the red...but i got the green ones, and they are definately green...and the blue ones are blue too, my sis has 'em in her cavy

Ok yes that is true about the cathodes.
Red is sorta pinkish
Blue is teal
green is a lighter green
becasue of the amount of light they give out the coors get distorted
and the shifter lights i had to put 4 leds in there that are aimed perfectly up towards it...PITA to line up but i used blue leds and it lights up bright blue...same with my HVAC knobs

^mine are really green silent...not light at all...a nice bright but dark neon green

It is a 194 bulb. It is simple just lfit on the plastic peice it will come up. You will then see the light. It takes a slight twist and it will come out. Replace and put back together.

You wouldn't by chance have a pic of the red would you. Do not want pink interior.
