window washer sprayers don't work
monday at 3:15pm after school I started my car and turned my wipers and sprayers on to clear the ice on my winshield. about 5 minutes later i was downtown to pick up my mom and they wouldn't spray. they didn't dribble or anything. i assumed that they were frozen because i filled it up 2 days ago and haven't used them much. i had -35'C in it and it was only -20'C or something close. so today it's -42'C with the wind and i washed my car and parked it in my heated garage for 2 and 1/2 hours and they still don't work. could it be clogged? could the pump be shot? has anyone else had this problem. please help me.

Do you hear the motor whirring?
Any broken hoses?

The Alero is my third car with wiper-mounted-windshield-washer-tubes. It happens all the time.
When I had my Dynasty, I can't recall how many times I got the tubes out of the wipers to get them inside to clean them properly.
One thing I did before to check if it was only the tube that was clogged is unplugging the rubber tube where it connects with the washer liquid tubing under the hood. On the Dynasty, they were heading up just in front of the windshield where generally all the ice and snow gather and thats why they were always frozen, so when unplugging them and trying the washer, it did a nice blue fountain over the car .
BUT Maybe on Aleros the tubes aren't hooked like this. Haven't checked yet.

lol @ -45
if it froze it froze, if you hear the motor go when you push the switch, it may have/might blow apart a section of the line. or the motor exhausted itself and burned out

When mine froze a couple weeks ago and it took a few days of warmer weather for it to unthaw, oh, and I drove the car around for like an hour so it would have nice underhood temps

i don't think i will worry about it for now. i have to do a motor in my Optima and i will tinker with it when i can. i'm guessing it is the motor because i can't hear it running.

no man it's nice having snow and cold weather because you can drift without using your e-brake.

You are lucky. It happened to my cousin 1 year ago at 2-3 am at 50 km/h on a 85 km/h suggested ramp. The car went sideway, then tried to get it back straight. One of the back wheel hit the side of the road while sliding where there was some snow that gathered, and the car flipped on the top. 8 000$ of dmg.

you guys have the part number or any other information as to where i would order a new hose and part that actually fits onto the bottle at?
the "nipple" for lack of other works broke inside the hose fitting, so i need to either cut back the hose and put another fitting on there, or just replace it all.....and i need another black nipple thingy...
stfu to anyone who makes fun of me for saying nipple, pervs..

check with a salvage yard. in Regina SGI our car insurance company has all totaled vehicles in a big lot (SGI Salvage). I could usually get parts like that from there. check if you have a place like that, they might have what you need.
