Thumbs up

On the gls there is a little compartment in fornt of the shifter. In this compartment there is a light bulb that is on and i was wondering what type of bulb this was so i could try and change it to a blue......any ideas on what type and size this bulb would be?

How did you replace them with LED's?? How did you make them fit and where did you find them?? Did you get the LED's off Oznium.com? Thanks

I ordered them from oznium. Take out the radio bezel and the light comes out with it. Find you positive and negative wires, splice/solder according to ozniums directions and your set. As far as making them fit, they are really small.

Same method. Only thing different is wrap the two led's with electrical tape, to kind of make them fit in the hole.

I did the LEDs too, but I do recall someone else asking this before and someone else (maybe Nick) said that you can't get a replacement bulb for that. I guess the little clip and the bulb are all together or something like that. So any kind of replacement is going to be somewhat custom. Any bulb/LED will work, you'll just have to figure a way to hold it in place.

LED is the way to go in the cubby hole. I also wired mine to a switch so the SOB doesn't stay on at night all the damn time.

The outer turn signal bulb is a 194 and the inner is a 3157. If you put a LED 194 in your turn signal, don't bug out when it starts blinking faster. The LED just uses less voltage, so it blinks faster.

if u have a 2000 alero dont put l.e.d. 3157's in your headlight assembly , i blew my hazard relay switch , even though it is a recall it was still a problem when i had no turn signals and no hazards for 2 weeks
