well i bought one w/o researching it on the thread.. didn't know it would cause some problems.. well.. im just thinking about putting it in.. my chimes come from driver's side so im guessing i have Class II thing.. so wen i install this i'll lose chimes and RAP.. i dun care about RAP.. when i turn the car off ill more than likely get out of the car.. (no need for radio).. but what is so bad about losing the chimes? i guess you can leave your headlights on.. (but there is the auto thing so i rarely turn the lights on manually).. you can look on the panel for low fuel.. what is so bad about losing the chimes?

A lot of people just personally like the chimes. Lets u know if u lokes ur car, if u left ur keys in the ignition and so on.

Make sure you get either the relocation harness or one that simulates the databus, otherwise:
NO AIR BAG FOR YOU!

Naw dude, you bunny with the databus and your bunnyin with your airbags. A local j-body guy had his go off while driving down the freeway cuz he didn't use a proper harness.

all you got to do is get an adaptor for the harness that way you dont mess with the factory crap.
