OPEN CALL FOR ACTORS AND EXTRAS
Heery Casting will hold an open call for actors and extras on Saturday, June 18, 2005.
The movie, being produced by Who’s Nuts Productions and distributed by WALT DISNEY STUDIOS is based on the true story of Vince Papale, a 30 year old bartender who made the Philadelphia’s professional football team in an open tryout in 1975. He is the oldest rookie to play in the league, never having played college ball.
Filming begins July 27 and continues through October, 2005.
The project is seeking men and women of all ages and ethnicities to portray avid football fans and Philadelphia neighborhood types. All actors/extras will be paid. This is a non-union call, but both Union and non-union actors are encouraged to attend
The call will be at the WACHOVIA Center in South Philadelphia. Enter through the Broad Street gate and park in Lot C. Enter through Broad Street North entrance (next to “fan gear” shop.)
Those with last names beginning with:
A through H will be seen from approximately 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM
I through P will be seen from approximately 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Q through Z will be seen from approximately 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Please bring a recent snapshot of yourself. It will not be returned. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
