Best Supercharger?
I would like to know what is the best supercharger for the 3.4L. I've got all of the modifications needed to run a supercharger with a decent amount of boost. I was looking at the RSM Racing Supercharger Kit, but all I've heard is negative feedback on that system.

I bet kwhauck would disagree with that.

Very true, no one makes shit for the 3400. kwhauck got lucky to get one from the factory. I have looked everywhere for one and haven't had any luck. I think there were only like 16 3400's made with the supercharger. Im sure GM employees own the rest of them.

i'm sure with some fabrication, something could be lifted out of another engine. but the problem is how much work are you willing to do to get it to fit....
anything can fit anything. its just the (fab time+money)/(willpower + determination) equation you gotta figure out.

Fitting it in isn't the problem, The sell superchagers for the 3.4l that came in the S-10s. Its all the tuning that is the hard part or the costly part.

Nah, tuning is easy depending on what kind of fuel mods you pick, especially with a supercharger when there will always be the same amount of boost/airflow at a given RPM.

I got new heads, valves, pushrods, supercharger ready cam shaft(stage 2), Stage 3 Upper Intake Manifold, Stage 3 Lower Intake manifold, S&S Headers, New PCM Tuned for a Supercharger and Nitrous, Spark Plug Wires and Platinum 2 Spark Plugs. The RSM Supercharger is just about right for my set up and I'm pretty sure I will be able to run about 13-15lbs. of boost.

It's easy if you understand how the whole system works and how your fuel system is setup, which honestly you should understand fully if you're going to build and/or tune your own kit.

sounds like you're all set, why supercharge for the enormous price RSM offers, plus negative reviews, when you can do a turbo setup for far cheaper? talk to BJ!
