well be sure its a wet shot, and wouldnt hurt to get some performance upgrades to ensure your shot is safe (pistons, rods, cams, maybe a port and polish) all depends on what kinda shot your wanting to run

they are the cheap way to do a CAI...which is the same as the $120-$200 option that comes with a brand name product. so take your pick there

Good one Redog
but it's used generically to refer to nitrous oxide.
Just like "Kleenex" is generically used by most people to refer to tissue paper even though it's a brand name......should we drag "Coke" into this too? heh

It's called nitrous, chief, and do a little research on it and you probably wouldn't be posting this. Yes you can put it in, yes it's fairly easy to do. Get a Nitrous Express wet system, don't use a nozzle higher than 35HP or 50HP on a stock engine.

start using that search button man.......if your not sure, look around, the best way to get ideas and see how its done is to look around. its alot more effective to look rather then opening a new thread and ask every damn question when its been asked and answered a million times (and trust me, almost EVERY question has come with when it comes to alero mods)

N2O = Nitrous Oxide otherwise known as juice or nitrous or Nitro
But anyways, stock Ecotec is capable of handling up tp 75 shots

I believe that GM got the ecotec up to 283HP before they blew anything up (all 4 rods). But you wouldn't want to go anywhere near that unless you're very experienced.

They ran up to 390hp on all stock motor (lol all 4 rods simultaneously snapped). I was looking into nitrous and here are my recommendations. There are plenty of people running 100 shots on all stock motors. I would run a 75 or less and it has to be wet. It would also be advisable to get an msd ignition so you can adjust for timing if you go above 75.

I believe the 283 was WHP, but either way, i got that info here...
http://www.year2032.com/ecotec.htm It's actually a good reading page on the racing development.
