DIRRTY WHITE ALERO

Hey peoples I happened to stumble accross a new cat back system for our cars but there is only one problem they dont make a system YET for the 3.4L it is in PROTOYPE stage and will be out this fall. They only have the 2.2 eco and the 2.4l with a 2.25 dia. piping aluminized catback system. I emailed the guy there trying to explain that all alero models use the same exhaust system... Or am I wrong? Can someone help me beacuse Im on my 3rd muffler including the stock one and im pissed and i dont want to spend the $1000CAD for the borla.

Here is the link PT#88-1474
www.pacesetterexhaust.com

and this is where I found it for $256.35

If it fits the Eco and 2.4 it will fit the 3400. Also 2dr/4dr doesn't matter.

stainless doesnt rust so it will last a lot longer than mild steel. and yes, it bolts to the flange right after the stock cat....you wont need a new one. and what Grouch said...it'll fit any alero regardless of engine, coupe, or sedan.

As far as i can tell it's out now,
being as It lets me take it to the checkout.

But being as I live in canada the shipping and probly duty on it would make it not really that great of a deal.

I've heard mixed reviews on Pacesetter's MONZA cat-backs from visiting various forums. From what I gather, the paint slowly burns off which causes a bad smell then eventually it just burns off/chips off randomly and the pipes begin to rust. It is supposedly constructed from aluminized stainless steel. The tips also have a tendency to just fall off over time. The sound is great, though, but I would rather go with something that sounds great or better and lasts longer.

If you have it coated with some better paint or something to prevent rust, this would be a bargain deal.
