the red arrow is your caliper mounting bracket bolts, the blue circle will remove the caliper only, no need to remove the bracket if your just replacing the pads.

Yeah, affirmitive with Jbartram.
If you're not replacing your rotors, there is no need to undo those other bolts.
Your caliper is in two sections. Just the top part removes with the 2 13mm bolts.,
ANd yes, they're both tight. It's not something you want coming loose later on going down the road.
I used a breaker bar, craftsman ratchets aren't what they used to be. (plastic parts break) don't feel like taking em in for warranty everytime I need to be hard on em.
You'll have a total of 3 brake clips in there, the two are fine if you're not removing your pads. One is in the removable part of the caliper, and could pop out. Just make sure it sits back in there the way it came out, or you could have scrapage issues. Nothing terrible, it'll wear itself away after time :P cheap spring metal. It's just supposed to help against brake squeak

ok theres 2 ratchet sizes said, 13 and 14, 14 fits but that bytch aint budgin, i was just working on it and like ok, wtf and walked inside. But i just wanted to look at my pads cuz i was reading on here about how they all squeek and there might be some dust or other stuff on the pad itsself. I also heard that turning them wont do a thing.

Turning might, or might not; Just depends how much life you have left to your rotors.
could also be the quality of your pads. Stockers are just crab; brake dust, dirty = noise.
Next level up go semi metallic.
CLean braking, ceramics. Recommend Morse, Bendix. Raybestos quiet stop pg plus CT.. Get the longest braker bar you can find, if not, put a pipe on the end for leverage. You're not going to break the bolt.. It's tight :P
The mechs at the chop use airtools to break em..

IF you take that caliper bracket off, when you reinstall it you must retorque it for safety reasons.

sounds like me i had to break off my hubcaps to get to the lugs the nylon brushings they yous in them had been melted to the lugs the only think i could think is the people that did my breaks used the air socket to put them on last time......
and other note yeah even the semi metalic will start squeeking after a month or two go ceramic wont wear out as fast either.

umm, no, semi metallics will not start squeaking after a month or two. you idiot. =/ maybe raybestos?
semi metallic is a widely used and economical form of brake pads. We use Bendix ones in place of raybestos for all of our customers. I have had my Bendix's for about a year now?? they are still about as good as new. I am getting ceramics next tho, but it will be a while til i need new pads =/
even stock raybestos will not squeak after a month or two. Unless you drive like a COMPLETE numbskull. even then.. im not sure.
