Okay, as some of you may know I painted my tails b.c I didnt like how big they were.

Well now I want them tinted.
I am going to wetsand them probably in the next few days. I need to know from your experiences what is the best tint to use? I did a search but my coputer is being gay.

call them up and ask them to cut you 2 pieces sized 12"x27" for the tails

i've heard the "nightshade" tint is pretty decent.

thats what i've seen used more frequently on the boards here.

i just realized i think he wants to paint tint them...if thats the case go with the nightshade

Well I would have to paint tint them because I have to wet-sand it. I think it will be too faded. But I dont know, never wet-sanded before.

my advice...if you havent done it before, dont try it on something you care about.

best bet would be to pick up a set of tails from the junkyard

get some RC Lexan tint spraypaint from your local hobby store. its cheaper than night shades and works great.

Naw I am ok with workin on the car, I think I will be fine with this. RC Lexan tint huh?

and like 4 clearcoats...

clearcoat will definately help the longetivity of the tint.
